A few days after our Croydon Park Hotel luncheon, we were delighted to meet up with Liz Comeau (nee Gowan) and her husband Paul, who had visited London from Texas.

We all gathered at ‘The Cork & Bottle’ a favourite haunt in Leicester Square where we have met many times before and enjoyed a bottle of wine (or two) with a pleasant meal.

Liz met Paul several years ago and moved to Texas soon after they married. They are both very keen motorcyclists and enjoy cruising around on their Harley Davidsons.

Liz and Paul were joined by ex-Reedhamites – Stan Smith, Byron Butler, Gary McQueen and George and Denise Kanetti and a good time was had by all.

Liz and Paul spent the rest of their stay sight-seeing and touring before heading back to the USA.

Liz and her younger sister Debbie were at Reedham during the 60s and 70s and made many friends there; both now live in the USA.
