FUTURE OF ROSA – THE VOTES ARE IN

RESULTS OF THE VOTING ON THE FUTURE RUNNING OF ROSA The Proposal put forward in November 2014 to all ‘Paid Up’ Members of ROSA asked for their vote on the following question: “I agree to the proposed amendments to ROSA Constitution”; the outcome of which was further qualified by explaining: • Voting YES will allow ROSA to continue as a Friendly Society under a much simplified structure as defined in the proposed revised Constitution (enclosed) • Voting NO will invoke Section 13 of the current Constitution (enclosed). This would mean winding up of ROSA and remaining monies disposed of as detailed in Constitution. This would also mean the cessation of formal reunions, activities and the website. AGM UPDATE FOR OUR MEMBERS

Dear ROSA Members, For those of you who were not able to join us at this year’s Reunion, I would like to share the outcome of the AGM. Unfortunately, after numerous requests for nominations for the ROSA Officer posts, which were made over the past year (and two years for Treasurer) through Rosabeam and the accompanying letter which was sent to all members and also messages placed on the ROSA website, we did not have any Members who felt able to come forward to stand for the three Officer positions being vacated.
